Çakırtepe Hospital

We have taken our health tourism vision one step further in London! 🇬🇧🇹🇷

As Private Ünye Çakırtepe Hospital, we have added a new milestone to our international health tourism initiatives by participating in the 3rd London International Health Tourism Expo held this year. The London expo, which we have been regularly attending since 2024, continues to serve as a crucial meeting point for our hospital, our region, and Ünye in line with our globalization goals. This event also marked our 9th international exhibition abroad.

During the expo, we hosted visitors at our booth alongside our Chairman of the Board, Mehmet Ali Durak, and our Health Tourism Manager and Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist, Op. Dr. Mehmet Onur Sarıhan. Throughout the two days of B2B and B2C meetings, we established new connections in the field of health tourism and provided detailed information regarding our treatment processes.

During the expo, the following departments attracted significant interest:

• Ophthalmology (Eye Health and Diseases)
• Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery
• Orthopedics and Traumatology

We listened closely to the health concerns and expectations of the guests visiting our booth and took careful notes. Upon returning from the expo, we have already begun initiating online consultation processes between these patients and our respective physicians.

We observe an increasing trend of seeking treatment abroad due to the heavy burden on healthcare systems and long waiting times in Europe, particularly in the UK. The high-quality healthcare services and price advantages offered by Türkiye play a significant role in patients’ preferences.

As Private Ünye Çakırtepe Hospital, we introduced Ünye’s health tourism potential on the international stage by presenting our guests in London with:

🌿 The opportunity to receive treatment in the natural and peaceful atmosphere of the Black Sea, 🏥 Our experienced medical staff and modern healthcare infrastructure, 💰 Significant price advantages compared to metropolitan cities.

Our international journey continues without slowing down.

Our next stops will be Almaty, Kazakhstan in April, and Düsseldorf, Germany in June.

In addition to exhibitions, we aim to develop warmer, trust-oriented, and sustainable collaborations through planned meet-up projects, traveling with our partners directly to the cities where our guests reside.

We continue to bring the healing journey of the Black Sea to the world.
