Mehmet Ali Durak, Chairman of the Board of Private Çakırtepe Hospital, was a guest on the program “Sağlığınız Önceliğimiz” (Your Health is Our Priority), broadcast on Altaş TV and moderated by Op. Dr. Mehmet Onur Sarıhan. During the program, many important topics were discussed, from our hospital’s deep-rooted 16-year history and its leading role in the region to its advanced technological infrastructure and international health tourism vision.
16 Years of Trust, Advanced Technology, and a Gateway to Global Health
Describing the success and future vision of Private Çakırtepe Hospital, which has been meeting the health needs of the local community for 16 years since its establishment in 2009, Chairman of the Board Mehmet Ali Durak said, “Since the day we were founded, our goal has been not just to be a healthcare institution, but also a family institution trusted by the region. Our priority has always been our people-oriented approach and the bond of trust we build with our patients.”
Durak stated that the hospital has become a regional health center by accepting a high volume of patients from surrounding provinces and districts such as Terme, Çaybaşı, Fatsa, Kumru, and Korgan, in addition to Ünye. He emphasized that they provide services with a strong and extensive team of specialists. He also noted that a significant technological infrastructure supports the successful operations performed in many fields, from general surgery to plastic surgery, and from eye health to spinal surgery.
Mentioning that they have taken pioneering steps not only in healthcare but also in environmental awareness and sustainability, Durak spoke about the electric vehicle charging stations within the hospital.
Health tourism was one of the key topics of the program. Pointing out that Turkey is a growing market in this field, Mehmet Ali Durak mentioned that they have participated in international expos in cities like Baku, London, Frankfurt, and Moscow, conducting over 120 B2B meetings. He said they offer international guests a “health and cultural tourism” service that not only includes treatment but also introduces them to the historical and cultural beauties of Ünye. Durak concluded by saying, “Our goal is to be a gateway to global health. For this, both our facilities and our staff are very strong.”
